Photo Memories of Our 25th Wedding Anniversary

Our 25th wedding anniversary mass and renewal of vows was celebrated by Reverend Father Harry Morrison at 2PM at the St Joseph Church, Pinole, CA. It was attended by about 100 invited guests. Ms Oty Balagot played the organ and Mr Virgilio Victoria sang "Panis Angelicus" and "Gaano Kita ka Mahal" ( How I love You). Macrine surprised me by singing Faithfully Yours after the Renewal of Vows and Blessings of the Ring.

The mass was followed by a catered reception managed by Mr Duane Monk and his group. Lejon champagne (4 cases) and Christian Brothers Chablis and Rose wines were served with fresh lumpia, empanada, fresh fruits, sweet sour pork, chicken almondin, steam and fried rice plus the wedding cake for dessert.

The Sound Syndicate Disco Band of Neil Hallare played for three hours. My surprise gift, a charcoal painting of the family by Jesse Santos was presented to Macrine at rhe end of the reception.

Dinah's 21st birthday was also announced as the band played Happy Birthday. The total cost was about $2,500. This amount was worth every penny we spent for this happy double occasion in the life of David and Macrine Katague.

The following are some photos from our silver wedding anniversary, May 8,1982 in Pinole, California.
